Exciting Announcement

Dear Patients and Friends,

After 35 years in dentistry and 28 years in private practice I have decided to retire.  It is a decision that was reached after much thought and consideration.  It has been my privilege and honor to have had the opportunity to serve you.

In considering retirement, one of my primary concerns has been to find a dentist who shares a similar philosophy of dentistry and has values similar to mine, a dentist who would continue to provide the quality care which you deserve and appreciate.  After a thorough search, I am pleased to introduce to you Dr. Cara Coleman.  Dr. Coleman received her BA from Bates College in Maine as a distinguished scholar.  She was an honor student at Tufts Dental School receiving her DMD in May 2002.  She has been in private practice for 9 years in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and was named a “Top Dentist” by NH Magazine in 2010.  I have spent considerable time with Dr. Coleman and have developed trust and confidence in her skills, integrity, and commitment to patient care. 

I will miss the many warm relationships that I have formed over the years. I feel fortunate to have practiced dentistry in Amherst for the past 27 years.  The most rewarding part of that experience has been the appreciation and confidence that you have expressed to me for the care and attention that you have received in my office.  I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the many years of patronage and loyalty you have shown me. I hope you will extend the same courtesies to Dr. Coleman.

Dr. Coleman will assume the practice on June 1.  Our wonderful staff, Carol, Naomi, Charlene and Janelle, will help with the transition.  Dr. Coleman will be welcoming new patients and your referral of friends, relatives and coworkers will be an appreciated.
